| The GreenWays Initiative awards grants to help plan and build greenways to connect people and communities throughout the region. Of particular interest are projects that link communities, restore the landscape, leverage additional resources and build collaboration between the public and private sectors.
GreenWays Initiative grants are awarded semi-annually, with application deadlines on June 1st and December 1st of each year. Prior to submitting a grant application, you should familiarize yourself with the Grants Guidelines printed on this Web site. If you are considering applying for a grant, we encourage you to contact a representative of the GreenWays Initiative at the Community Foundation and let us know about your project. This will help us to better understand your project and all of its benefits.
